The most revolutionary IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) equipment is now available at Premium Aesthetic Clinic

The Premium Aesthetic Clinic has upgraded its IPL equipment with a state-of-the-art model, allowing for more precise and comprehensive treatments for all its patients.

IPL, or Intense Pulsed Light, is a laser-like technology. Instead of a single wavelength of light like a laser, IPL uses a bright beam of light, in front of which filters are placed. These filters block most wavelengths except those absorbed by pigment and blood vessels, depending on the filter used. The light energy penetrates just below the skin's surface, affecting melanin (skin pigment) or blood vessels.

Effects of intense pulsed light on the skin

The body's natural skin repair mechanisms remove pigment or blocked blood vessels, resulting in smoother, brighter, and more even-toned skin. It typically takes 3-6 treatments to see significant results, and treatments can be spaced 3-4 weeks apart.

Indications for IPL treatment

Intense pulsed light is indicated for the treatment of pigmentary and vascular disorders, as well as for facial and body photorejuvenation.

  • Age spots on face and hands
  • Freckles and pigmented lesions
  • Solar lentigines
  • Melasma
  • Telangiectasias
  • Rosacea
  • Skin redness

It also allows for gentle photorejuvenation parameters, with minimal post-treatment effects.

The advantage of IPL systems is that downtime is usually minimal.
